Ed Brisson writes the defender of K’un-Lun, a mystical city of heaven, under more danger than ever before facing an army of relentless servants to The Seer

The Seer, a man who controls legions of brainwashed followers, has been hired to kill Daniel. Daniel learns of the deadly contract and the man behind the hit to be none other than CHOSHIN, a Kung Fu master who wishes to rid Daniel from K’un-Lun. CHOSHIN wishes to rebuild K’un-Lun in his own image where his word will be law.  

Mike Perkins provides a realistic and grounded artwork for the characters present extreme detail and distinct facial structures. Each character looks completely different from the next creating a real world dynamic. The shading is heavy within the comic book even though extensive does not overtake the other elements on the page. Decent line work provides a complex picture without being over done within the panels. 

A painted style of color is present inside the comic for the background presenting deep shades of blue, purple, and black. During the main action scenes strong mixtures of red and orange are present in the background to emphasize danger, magic, and highlight the power of Iron Fist. 

Iron fist and Shang-Chi become overwhelmed in the final conflict against the sinister Seer. The Seer forces his power upon Shang-Chi and takes control of his mind. The end is near for Iron-Fist for he may perish under the might of one of the world’s greatest martial artists. Find out the fate of Daniel Rand come the next issues to follow in a land of crime, revenge, and the supernatural.
