The publisher Boom! Studios, follows the efforts of the mightiest mortals the Power Rangers as they dive into their next chapter as Rita Repulsa is defeated and the Rangers rebuild their city of Angel Grove and watch over the world. They also look to reestablish a connection with their mentor Zordon of Altar for he was disconnected from the Rangers in the battles that followed Rita’s defeat.

Kyle Higgins writes a comic that serves as a filler piece that will lead to more pivotal points as the story continues. The rangers find themselves taking on more simpler tasks in saving the day being natural disasters, tornados, and falling buildings. Jason, the Red Ranger, leads the team as they take on missions across the country and the world.

The rangers gather pieces of Zordon’s staff to connect with the morphing grid and eventually bring him back from deep space. The relationships between the characters grow as the team adjusts and prepares for more potential threats that may emerge from the shadows.

The artwork by Hendry Prasetya is full of strong line work and rich colors. The Ranger’s costumes and robots sport tremendous color as they stand out on each panel. The panels have bright visuals of red, blue, black, pink, and yellow. The lines are crisp and smooth in developing a vivid description of the characters and environment. The panel movement is easy to follow as the action jumps from one scene to the next.

The conclusion presents the world and government are interested in the Power Rangers. Grace Sterling a news personality wants to speak with the teenagers with attitude. Therefore, the cliffhanger isn’t as impactful in giving new information that can change the focus of the story. The agenda behind Sterling is unknown and what will become of the rangers has yet to be revealed in further issues.
