Kyle Higgins explores the elements of horror, suspense, and science fiction as the story unfolds. Grace Sterling, one of the most powerful women in the world calls upon the Rangers for help. Her global network tracked the whereabouts of two pilots who disappeared over a mysterious village. The Rangers accept the mission to locate and find the missing pilots.
Once the Rangers enter the village they discover its ruled by Finster. The creator of monsters reveals his twisted plans of global domination. He plans to release a new form of hybrid monsters that can disguise themselves as humans. The Rangers manage to rescue the pilots and stop the onslaught of creatures before Finster’s dream could take form.
Hendry Prasetya provides excellent line work and color in the making of the comic book. Sharp edges create dimension to the characters and action. Heavy shading is presented throughout all the panels in the wake of a dark castle. The shadows amplify the terror the Rangers face as humans turn into terrifying beasts.
Colors are expressed in beautiful tones all coming together to make a stunning visual. The Rangers are dressed in bright and bold colors capturing the eyes as they leap into action to fight off the danger. The colors are solid and do not blend with the opposing colors or background making the Rangers and characters have their own individualism.
The nightmare is just beginning because news reports reveal humans have been transforming into deadly creatures and terrorizing the population. Monsters have emerged from all across the globe as the fate of the human race hangs in the balance. Find out more as the Power Rangers may face a threat that is beyond their capabilities in further chapters.
